Have you ever wished that a doctor could come to your home to check on your baby?

I did!

I was in my pediatric residency when I had my oldest, Grace. There were a handful of times during her first months of life that I asked my pediatrician friend, Laurel, to come and see Grace in our home—it was the middle of winter and she was never sick enough to need to be seen in the peds clinic (and risk being exposed to cold and flu viruses!) but I was concerned enough about her that I needed her to be checked out by someone I could trust.

Having Laurel come over, examine Grace, listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and reassure me helped me a ton during my first months of motherhood! This plays a large role in why I started my pediatric home visiting service in the Cleveland area!
